Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed with Eighty8 Sports (“we”, “us”) through eighty8-sports.co.uk, by WhatsApp or by email. Please read them before you order. If you order as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
1. Placing an order
When you place an order on our website or send us an order request, you are making an offer to buy. We will check the details with you, including sizes, colours, design and any names, numbers or logos, and confirm the price and expected delivery time. A contract between us is formed when we confirm your order in writing and you pay through the payment link we send you.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery within Europe, including the UK, is free unless we tell you otherwise. We do not take card details on our website: after you order, we send you a secure payment link. Production starts once payment has been received. If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we will contact you before accepting your order.
3. Made-to-order and custom items
Every item is made to order. For custom items, you are responsible for giving us accurate measurements and for checking the design details we confirm with you before production. Colours on screen can look slightly different from the finished product, and small differences in colour or placement are normal for handmade items.
If you send us names, logos or artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and depend on production time for your item. We will tell you the expected delivery time when we confirm your order. For delivery outside Europe, contact us before ordering so we can confirm costs and options. Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise.
5. Returns and cancellations
Items in a standard size and standard design can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Custom made items, meaning items made to your measurements, in your own colours or design, or carrying your name, number or logos, are personalised to you and cannot be returned unless they are faulty or not as ordered. 6. Faulty or wrong items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, contact us as soon as possible with photos and your order number and we will put it right. As a consumer you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty or not as described, and these terms do not affect those rights.
7. Safety
Racing gear helps reduce the risk of injury but cannot prevent all injuries. Always wear correctly fitted gear and check that it meets the rules of your circuit, championship or series before use. If your series requires a specific certification, ask us before you order.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
9. Website content
All content on this website, including text, photos, designs and the Eighty8 Sports name and logo, belongs to Eighty8 Sports and may not be copied without our permission.
10. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring claims in your local courts.
